Tasneem ("we", "our", or "the app") by JalalDevs respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Tasneem handles information when you use the application. Short version: we keep the minimum needed to run your account, and never your payment details.
You log in with Google or Apple — they verify your identity, we never see your password. Once logged in, we store your basic profile (name, email and photo, as shared by your login provider) in our database. Your folders, notes and events stay on your own device.
Tasneem may request access to your device's location in order to provide location-based features, such as calculating accurate prayer times and the Qibla direction for your location.
Location is used only on your device and is never uploaded to our servers. You can deny or revoke location permission at any time through your device settings. Some location-based features may not work correctly without this permission.
Tasneem may request permission to send notifications. Notifications are used for features such as prayer reminders and other optional reminders within the application. Reminders are scheduled on your device.
Notification permission is controlled by your device. You can enable or disable notifications at any time through your device settings.
Premium subscriptions are sold and billed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and managed through RevenueCat. We store your subscription status so the app knows what to unlock. Your card or payment details never touch us.

Tasneem may use third-party services or APIs to provide certain features, such as prayer times or Islamic content. Information required to make a request to these services may be processed by the relevant third-party service according to its own privacy policy.
You can delete your account at any time from your profile inside the app. This permanently erases your stored profile from our database. If you have an active subscription, cancel auto-renewal in your Apple or Google settings to avoid the next charge — deleting the account does not cancel it.
We take reasonable measures to protect the limited account information we store. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we keep what we hold to the minimum described above.
Tasneem does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy if the features or data practices of Tasneem change. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
